At Friendly Car Care, we are committed to delivering high-quality services and ensuring customer satisfaction. We understand that circumstances change, and we have designed this policy to be as fair and transparent as possible.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services and products offered by Friendly Car Care, including Roadside Assistance (RSA) plans, Call to Owner (CTO) plans, doorstep car servicing, car washing, insurance facilitation and used car sales.
Important: By purchasing any plan or booking any service with Friendly Car Care, you agree to the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.
Friendly Car Care offers refunds in specific circumstances as described in this policy. Our general principles are:
- Cancellations made well in advance are fully refundable
- Once a service has been rendered or utilised, it is non-refundable
- Annual plans (RSA/CTO) are refundable within 7 days of purchase if unused
- Insurance refunds are governed by the insurer's own policies, not by us
- All approved refunds are processed within 7โ10 business days
We are here to help. If you are unhappy with a service, please contact us first โ we will do our best to make it right before a formal refund becomes necessary.
The following cancellation terms apply to all scheduled service appointments, including doorstep car servicing, car washing and general check-up bookings:
Cancellation by Customer
- More than 24 hours before the confirmed appointment time โ cancellation is free of charge; any advance payment will be fully refunded
- Within 24 hours of the confirmed appointment time โ a cancellation fee of up to โน200 may apply to cover technician dispatch costs
- No-show (customer absent at the agreed time and location without prior notice) โ the appointment fee, if paid, is non-refundable; a re-booking fee may apply for rescheduling
Cancellation by Friendly Car Care
- If we are unable to fulfill a confirmed booking due to technician unavailability, vehicle breakdown or any operational issue on our end, we will offer a full refund or a reschedule at your convenience โ at no additional charge
- We will notify you as early as possible if cancellation from our side is necessary
Rescheduling: You may reschedule an appointment at any time up to 12 hours before the confirmed slot without any charge. Rescheduling requests can be made via phone or email.
Our annual Roadside Assistance (RSA) and Call to Owner (CTO) subscription plans are governed by the following specific cancellation and refund terms:
Within 7 Days of Purchase โ Full Refund
You may cancel your RSA or CTO plan and receive a full refund within 7 days of the date of purchase, provided that:
- No services under the plan have been utilised (no RSA calls made, no check-ups redeemed, no CTO activations used)
- The cancellation request is submitted in writing to info@friendlycarcare.in
- The plan activation perfume or any physical benefit has not been dispatched
After 7 Days or After Use โ Non-Refundable
- Plans cancelled after 7 days from the purchase date are non-refundable, regardless of usage
- If any service under the plan has been utilised (even one RSA call or one check-up), the plan becomes immediately non-refundable even within the 7-day window
- Partial refunds for the remaining unused period of the plan are not provided under any circumstance
- Plans are non-transferable to another vehicle or person
Plan Validity: All RSA and CTO plans are valid for 12 months from the date of activation. Unused benefits cannot be carried forward beyond the plan validity period and do not entitle the customer to any refund.

Car Washing
- Car washing services are typically paid at the time of service (cash or UPI on-site). No advance payment is taken unless part of a package.
- If you have pre-paid for a car washing session (e.g., as part of the Premium RSA Plan benefit or a prepaid package) and we are unable to deliver the service within the agreed timeframe due to our own constraints, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.
- If the service has been fully or partially rendered, no refund is applicable for the rendered portion.
Doorstep Car Servicing
- If you cancel a pre-paid doorstep servicing booking more than 24 hours in advance, a full refund will be issued.
- Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a partial deduction for parts already procured or technician costs incurred.
- Once the service has commenced, no refund is applicable for the work already performed. If you have concerns about the quality of work, please raise them with the technician on-site or contact us within 48 hours of service completion.
Service Satisfaction: If you are not satisfied with the quality of a car wash or doorstep service, contact us within 48 hours. We may offer a complimentary re-service at our discretion as a goodwill gesture.
Friendly Car Care acts as a facilitator for motor and health insurance in partnership with Renewbuy and SMC Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd. (IRDAI-registered). We do not underwrite any insurance policy.
- All insurance premium payments are processed directly through Renewbuy or SMC Insurance portals, not through Friendly Car Care.
- Insurance policy cancellations, corrections and refunds are governed entirely by the respective insurer's cancellation policy and IRDAI regulations.
- Friendly Car Care does not process insurance refunds and cannot influence the insurer's refund decision.
- For policy corrections, mid-term cancellations or claims, you must contact Renewbuy or SMC Insurance directly. We can assist in facilitating communication where possible.
IRDAI Regulations: Insurance refunds (if applicable) are subject to IRDAI guidelines, which typically allow pro-rata refunds for unused policy periods in specific circumstances. Please refer to your policy document for exact terms.
Used car sales and purchases facilitated by Friendly Car Care are governed by specific terms agreed upon at the time of transaction:
- A booking amount or token paid to reserve a used vehicle is refundable only if the sale does not proceed due to a fault on our end (e.g., misrepresentation of vehicle condition, documentation issues).
- If the buyer decides not to proceed after inspection and payment confirmation, the booking amount is non-refundable.
- Full payment made for a used car is non-refundable once the vehicle transfer and registration paperwork has been initiated.
- Any disputes regarding vehicle condition post-sale must be raised within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence.
Buyer Tip: We strongly recommend thoroughly inspecting the vehicle and requesting a free general check-up from our technicians before completing any used car purchase. This is provided at no cost.

Once a refund is approved by our team, it will be processed as follows:
- Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 7โ10 business days from the date of approval
- Refund Method: Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (Razorpay โ credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, or wallet)
- Cash Payments: Refunds for cash transactions will be issued via UPI or bank transfer to your registered account
- Bank Processing Time: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3โ5 business days after we process the refund for the funds to appear in your account
- GST: GST amounts charged on services are non-refundable once the transaction has been reported to the tax authority
Refund Confirmation: You will receive an email or SMS confirmation once your refund has been initiated from our end. Please retain this for your records.
The following are explicitly non-refundable under all circumstances:
- RSA or CTO plans where any service benefit has been utilised
- RSA or CTO plans cancelled after the 7-day window
- Services fully rendered (car washing, servicing, check-up) regardless of customer satisfaction reasons that were not raised within 48 hours
- Hanging perfumes or physical benefits dispatched as part of RSA plan activation
- Convenience or platform fees charged at the time of payment (if applicable)
- GST amounts on invoiced services
- Used car booking amounts where the buyer withdraws voluntarily
- Insurance premiums (governed by insurer, not Friendly Car Care)
To initiate a refund or cancellation, please contact us using any of the methods below. Include your name, registered phone number, order/booking reference and reason for the request.
We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 7 business days. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate to the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
